Anne Frank's Diary - The Diary of Anne Frank

Hi my friends, its been a while since I've posted anything on my blog as a post (this because I've been posting things on my pages...^^)...sorry.

Anyways, I have started reading the book/Diary written by Anne Frank and edited by Otto H. Frank and Mirjam Pressler, translated by Susan Massotty. For those of you who don't know, Anne Frank is a young Jewish girl who was sent along with her family to a concentration camp, and I believe her story/diary writing journey started when her mother gave/brought her the diary (on her 13th birthday: 12th June, 1942) which she kept during when war happened in Germany.

To me, just the existence of the diary is powerful. If you think about it, a powerless teenager girl sitting while her people/her race are wiped out because a single leader believed that their race is worse than others, while the Nazi's committed Genocide towards the Jewish. She stood on the same level as us, as normal citizens of a country, but she used what she had record down  to let people know what is happening in her time. She had the courage (I'm sorry if you find this cheesy, but its definitely the truth.)

So if you have not yet read 'The Diary of Anne Frank', I really do suggest you read it. There is a site where you can get it in English in a PDF file. I'll put all details below.
